The CITL's primary job is to provide residency facilities to professional translators from around the world (it specifically does not provide training or help with publishing). |

The Collège thus fosters
binational relations with a number of countries in the shape
of ongoing training seminars involving younger and more experienced
translators. |

The Collège also initiates, both in Arles
and throughout the area, a range of cultural
events, debates and round-table discussions. |
