In addition to translators from around the world, the CITL also caters to authors, researchers and linguists.
It provides ideal conditions (ten residential rooms, specialist library, computer facilities) for residents to live and work in absolute peace and quiet.
   
   
residence Translators may reside at the CITL for anything from 2 weeks to 3 months.
    paid residence: 15€ per day
bursaries the DLL (Direction du Livre et de la Lecture, the national book and reading council) grants residence bursaries to foreign translators on the basis of applications filed through their French embassies.
  the CITL awards bursaries funded by the European Commission, by the French foreign ministry, and by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regional authority.
